What is Influential Initiatives Academy?
IIA is a faith-centered academic growth and homeschool-support program serving K–12 students, with primary small-group programs for K–8. IIA uses diagnostics, Individual Growth Plans, small-group instruction, parent partnership, and four-pillar student development.
Is IIA a school?
IIA currently operates as an academic growth and homeschool-support program. We are intentionally building toward a Christian private microschool, initially focused on K–8. Families using current homeschool-support services remain responsible for the legal administration of their home-study programs.
Does IIA serve high-school students?
Yes. Grades 9–12 students may receive support through Upper Academy specialty cohorts, analytical writing, academic accountability, test preparation, college/career projects, selected mathematics support, and limited individual instruction. Upper Academy is currently a homeschool-support pathway rather than IIA's fully operating accredited high school.
How are students placed?
IIA considers diagnostic results, demonstrated skills, learning behavior, readiness, and program fit. Students are not placed by grade alone. Placement may also differ by subject.
How large are the groups?
IIA Growth Labs are limited to six students. Academic Studio capacity is determined by staffing, student needs, group compatibility, and safe program delivery.
What happens during the Academic Growth Assessment?
IIA reviews the parent's concerns, available academic information, and the student's relevant skills. Families receive a results conversation, recommended placement, and a written Individual Growth Plan.
How much does the assessment cost?
The Academic Growth Assessment is $75. The fee is applied as a tuition credit when the family enrolls in a recurring program within seven days of the results conversation.
How much are Growth Labs?
Growth Labs are $300 per month and include eight scheduled small-group sessions, an Individual Growth Plan, skill monitoring, appropriate practice, and parent progress communication.
Is homework help included?
Growth Labs may use schoolwork when it supports the student's Growth Plan, but the program is not designed merely to finish assignments. A separate Homework and Accountability Club is available for students whose primary need is organization and follow-through.
Does IIA guarantee grade-level growth or specific scores?
No responsible educational program can guarantee the same result for every student. Progress depends on the student's starting point, attendance, participation, practice, needs, and program length. IIA commits to focused instruction, clear communication, progress monitoring, and honest recommendations.
Is IIA only for struggling students?
No. IIA serves students who need intervention, greater consistency, stronger reasoning and communication, or appropriate academic challenge. Placement is based on the student's current needs and readiness.
Is IIA faith-centered?
Yes. Faith, integrity, purpose, responsibility, and service are part of IIA's culture. Academic instruction remains rigorous, practical, and focused on student growth.
Does IIA offer online programs?
Selected services and cohorts are available online when the format is appropriate for the student's age, needs, and program goals. Availability varies.
Do you offer discounts?
IIA uses published tuition and written discount, scholarship, referral, or earned-credit policies so families are treated consistently. Contact the administrative team to learn which current options may apply.
Can Georgia Promise Scholarship funds be used?
Ask IIA about current Georgia Promise provider status and eligible-service updates.
